Teaching Certifications
Interested in teaching etiquette or maybe learning about etiquette in more depth? The International School of Protocol offers two certification classes: For individuals who would like to teach etiquette to children and teens and for individuals who would like to teach etiquette to adults and business professionals. The programs are designed to make participants feel comfortable and the training focuses on activities and exercises that help new instructors learn ideas for teaching the skills and concepts. Once the program is completed, instructors have all the tools they need to begin to offer classes. Our approachability, hands on techniques, and practical examples make etiquette concepts easily accessible. If you register for both classes, there is a $250 discount.

Teaching Etiquette to Children and Teens
This certification class, taught virtually or in-person, is designed for the individual who wishes to teach etiquette classes, incorporate etiquette in the classroom, or learn additional information about etiquette. This class is for those who wish to teach children ages eight through young adult. Participants receive comprehensive materials and training in Social Etiquette, Communication Skills and Table Manners. Participants are emailed electronic copies of the three 22-24 page workbooks. The materials are designed to be flexible. Participants may use the workbooks in their entirety or select pages from the materials to design programs to meet the needs of various groups. During training, time is spent reviewing the material and exploring the many activities that make etiquette classes informative and fun for students. During the session, questions related to marketing yourself as an etiquette trainer are addressed. At the end of the training you will receive a certification to teach using these materials.
Teaching Etiquette to Adults and Professionals
This class is offered virtually or in-person for individuals who wish to teach college age students, adults and business professionals. Participants receive comprehensive materials and training in Professional Image, Communication Savvy, Dining Etiquette, and Civility. Participants receive electronic copies of the materials, sections of which can be combined in a variety of ways to customize programs. During training time is spent reviewing the materials, discussing the types of programs that are most commonly requested, and exploring how the materials can enhance a program. A portion of the discussion of table manners will be presented over a meal. During the session, questions related to marketing yourself as an etiquette trainer are addressed. At the end of the program you will receive a certification to teach using these materials.
